The Lowdown On Logo Branding

Saturday 31 July 2010 @ 2:30 am

p When you enter any type of business, youll always want to be ahead of your competitors. And creating a good identity and stay true to it is the first thing that you need to do. In other words, youll want to ingrain your existence in the market and in the minds of people wholl be your prospects. Of course, achieving this requires determination and commitment. Time is very important for you to achieve this. You should also be patient and giving up isnt an option. br /br /For you to establish a good name, you have to make sure that you can live up to what you promised. Selling products does not mean that you sell whatever product that you want to sell, the quality of the products you are selling affect your business substantially. So if you are into selling services, be the best at what you do. But the problem is there are many businesses these days that can deliver great products and services so you have to be able to set your business apart from your competitors. You have to give them something that they can remember that your competitors dont offer. br /br /You need to build your brand. If youre just starting, creating a good logo is the only good place to start. And there will be three fundamental considerations you need to make.br /br /First, decide whether your logo will be text or image-based. Logos that have the name of the company spelled out as the logo itself are text based logos while those that use images which can be concrete or abstract are image based logos. For instance, a publishing company can probably use an image of a typewriter as their logo and a sporting goods store can use a tennis racket in its logo. An abstract logo is something that is not a direct representation of a business but speaks about what this business stands for. The swoosh in Nike, for instance, can give a feeling of agility and lightness to the people wearing it. In your branding campaign, the message that your logo conveys to the market is very important. br /br /Second, your logo must be simple while delivering the message that you want to send across. Having a very complicated logo can work to your disadvantage because it crowds peoples minds as to what youre really there for or how you can actually help them. This is something that you need to work on if you want to be successful in your business.br /br /Third, your logo should be technically flexible, meaning it should look good on anything from your business card to your billboard. Your logos scalability is important which means that if your logo is printed in full color or in gray scale, it should be able to retain its impact.br /br //p
pMaking a a href=rdquo;http:/www.businesslogo.net/rdquo;logo for business/a is a great idea especially if you want to have an effective branding for your business. You can also create have your own business card to give to your customers but make sure to have a a href=rdquo;http:/www.businesslogo.net/rdquo;business card logo design/a created by an expert so that youll sure that it will work./p

Graphic Design In The Art Nouveau Style Can Be Timeless

Friday 30 July 2010 @ 3:24 am

pGraphic illustrators near the end of the 19th century were concerned with shape, design and pattern. This major shift in approach to graphic design can be traced back to one artist, who died at the young age of 26. This man conceived his own intensely personal perception of the art nouveau method. His interpretation of the style was so haunting, artists have continued in their attempts to copy it throughout the 20th century. You will find that further information on a href=http://outsource.designcrowd.comgraphic design outsourcing/a is on that site. br / br / Aubrey Beardsleys illustrations were made popular by Oscar Wilde, an Irish writer and playwright who was one of the most controversial figures of the time. Wilde was a passionate aesthete who held that art should be created for the joy of creation and not dependent on any moral or ethical criteria; and he commissioned Beardsley to create many drawings for his written works. One of Wildes most peculiar and controversial stories was illustrated, at his request, by this young man of whom we have been speaking. Using a combination of pattern, distortion, sweeping linear shapes, and a dark eroticism, this illustrator created images for his story. br / br / A pronounced interplay between positive and negative space defines this artists noteworthy style. The delicate patterns executed on a white background are in sharp contrast to large borders and dark and threatening planes. In a style all his own, the artist presents large, flowing curves which seem to move upon an asymmetrical page. The characters depicted in his art hold intricate objects presented in great detail, but are just simple outlines themselves. The intriguing interplay and contrast beween the complicated and simple characterizes his work. br / br / A number of late 19th century design professionals were inspired by items imported from Japan and also by a rejuvenated fondness for early Renaissance and medieval artwork. Appearing in many famous publications, the young illustrators artwork and illustrations were a strong influence in both the United States and Europe. Nowadays, a great deal of his work is reproduced to be employed as framed posters and prints hung on walls. As a person looking for a href=http://outsource.designcrowd.comoutsource graphic design/a you should visit that site. br / br / Poster art evolved during the 19th century; it was first simply used as commercial advertising, and then changed into a completely different art form. As opposed to the typically black and white books of the period, posters were frequently produced in color. Poster design was usually focused on a single, bright, eye-catching element. Wording for the product or event was kept to a bare minimum. The man heading up poster design capitalized on his awareness that capturing your viewers attention hinges upon simplicity and clarity. To that end, his colors were vivid and bright and his shapes were flat and uncomplicated. One notable artist used Impressionistic, hesitant, broken lines to express this. His pieces are heralded as classic art nouveau posters forerunners. br / br / There was another illustrator, who is thought of as the creator of the more proper art nouveau poster, who used more fluid contours and much stronger outlines. His is the familiar work seen full of willowy, young girls wearing loose clothing and letting their hair flow down from their heads, which then moves out into further artistic shapes. There was another popular art nouveau poster designer who created graceful, thin strips. On one of them there was typically a head to toe rendering of a lady. To make the intricate and detailed patterns of the time, the artists would draw from many sources including fold art, Arab and Moorish decoration, Hebrew lettering, Celtic motifs, Japanese wood cuts and Byzantine mosaics. br / br / There are countless books which reproduce these artworks from the late 1800s, and detail more about how each artist approached their work. You will also find there are dealers who will specialize in the sale of 19th, and early 20th century poster art. These dealers can frequently be found in stand-alone stalls at big antique markets. If you find an original piece in excellent condition, you can expect to pay hundreds, possibly thousands, for the honor of owning it. /p
